Create a new portal account & login for the first time

1. Access the following link with a web browser.
   ※Microsoft Edge is recommended for this procedure.
   https://genkai-portal.hpc.kyushu-u.ac.jp/


2. Click on "Signup the portal account".
   


3. Enter the information of the user of the portal account.
   The password must be at least 12 digits. It must contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol.
   


4. After reviewing the Terms of Use, check "I have reviewed and agree to the Privacy Policy." ,
   Click "Confirm".
   In the "Specific category", Japanese nationals residing in Japan are classified as "Residents", while those employed by or receiving economic benefits from a foreign government are classified as "Not in the specific category".

5. A confirmation screen will appear, and if you are satisfied with the information entered, click "Register".


6. Your portal account information will be sent to the email address you entered after the portal account registration is complete.
   After checking the information, click "Login".


7. Click on "Login.
   


8. Enter your portal account and password, and click "Login".


9. You will need to set up a mobile authenticator in order to log in to the Usage Application Portal.
   Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
   Please search information on the Web to find out how to install and use each authenticator.
   If you wish to change your authenticator settings, please contact us by email.


10. Once the Mobile Authenticator setup is complete, you will need to update your portal account password.
    Please set a new password. It must contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter, one number, and one symbol.
    


11. After logging in, the Top page of the portal will be displayed.
