【開催趣旨】
密度汎関数理論に基づく第一原理電子状態計算および分子動力学計算のための大規模
並列対応の汎用アプリケーションであるPHASE/0の講習会を行います。PHASE/0は誘電
応答、化学反応、XANES解析など各種物性の高精度な解析機能も実装しています。今回
の講習会では、第一原理電子状態計算PHASE/0を用いた第一原理シミュレーションを自
らの研究に役立てたい方を対象に、PHASE/0の基礎的な使い方をご説明すると共に、九
州大学情報基盤研究開発センター ITOサブシステムAを活用した電子状態計算を実習体
験いただきます。実験研究者や大学院生のご参加を歓迎いたします。
本講習会は、PHASEシステム研究会が定期的に開催しているPHASE/0利用講習会の第17
回を兼ねています。

Purpose of the workshop
This workshop will focus on PHASE/0, a general-purpose, massively parallel application for first-principles electronic structure and molecular dynamics calculations based on density functional theory (DFT). In this workshop, we will explain the basic usage of PHASE/0 and provide hands-on experience in electronic structure calculation using the ITO subsystem A of the Kyushu University Information Technology Center for those who wish to utilize first-principles electronic structure calculation PHASE/0 in their own research. The workshop will be open to experimental researchers and graduate students. Experimental researchers and graduate students are welcome to attend.
This workshop also serves as the 17th session of the PHASE/0 Workshop, which is held regularly by the PHASE System Study Group.
