１．新スーパーコンピュータの名称募集について
先日お知らせしたとおり、ITOの後継となるスーパーコンピュータの機種が決定しま
した。
日本全国の研究者が利用可能なスーパーコンピュータとして、皆さんに親しまれ、
多くの方に利用していただけるよう、また様々な研究を支えているスーパーコンピュ
ータの魅力や役割を発信していくため、新スーパーコンピュータの名称を一般公募し
ます。
■名称選考の主な基準
・親しみやすく覚えやすいもの
・九州大学を連想させるもの
・最先端の科学・技術・AIに関する計算をイメージできるもの など
■応募期間
2023年10月30日（月）から2023年11月24日（金）17:00まで
■応募資格
・日本国内在住の個人であればどなたでも応募できます。
・おひとりで複数の応募も可能ですが、１回の応募につき１案でお願いします。
