１．スーパーコンピュータシステムITO更新（2024年度更新予定）に伴うサービス停止
について
九州大学情報基盤研究開発センターにて運用しておりますスーパーコンピュータシ
ステムITOは2024年2月29日(木) 17時をもってサービスを終了し、2024年7月より次期
システムの運用開始を予定しております。
システム更新に伴い、冷却設備を含む既存設備の撤去、新設備の設置等の工事が発
生いたします。これまでは、複数システムの並行運用やキャンパス移転などにより、
停止期間を短縮することができました。
しかしながら、今回のシステム更新に際しては、複数システムをITOに集約したこと、
ITOが設置されている計算機室に次期システムを設置する必要があることから、サービ
ス停止期間が4ヶ月となる見込みです。
長期間のサービス停止となりご迷惑をおかけしますが、皆様のご理解とご協力をよ
ろしくお願いいたします。
〇計算サービス停止内容
・停止期間： 2024年3月1日(金)～2024年7月上旬（予定）
・停止システム： スーパーコンピュータシステムITO（ストレージを除く）
〇ファイルについて
・2024年2月末時点の利用者のファイルは、サービス停止期間中も参照できる予定で
す。
・ファイル移行については、次期システムの稼働開始後2ヶ月程度、ITOのファイル
を次期システムから参照可能とし、その間に利用者ご自身で必要なファイルをコピー
していただく予定です。
〇アカウントについて
・新システムでは現在ご利用のアカウントとは別に新しいアカウントを発行します。

1. Service Suspension due to Renewal of Supercomputer System ITO (scheduled for renewal in FY2024)
The supercomputer system ITO, which is operated by the Information Technology Research and Development Center, Kyushu University, will cease service at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 29, 2024, and the operation of the next system is scheduled to start in July 2024.
With the renewal of the system, there will be work to remove existing facilities, including cooling facilities, and install new facilities. In the past, we have been able to shorten the outage period by operating multiple systems in parallel and relocating the campus.
