１．mVMC講習会のお知らせ
変分モンテカルロ法による有効模型ソルバーパッケージmVMCの講習会を九州大学情報基盤研究開発センターの玄界 ノードグループAを用いて、2025年1月28日(火)に、会場（九州大学）と配信（Zoom）によるハイブリッドで開催いたします。

mVMCは2023年度HPCIソフトウェア賞【開発部門賞】最優秀賞として表彰されたソフトウェアです。

【開催趣旨】
広汎な多体量子系の有効模型(多軌道ハバード模型、ハイゼンベルグ模型、近藤格子模型など)を変分モンテカルロ法によって解析できるオープンソースソフトウェアmVMCの講習会を行います。今回の講習会では、mVMCを用いた変分モンテカルロ法によるシミュレーションに興味のある方を対象に、 mVMCの概要と基本的な使い方を、九州大学情報基盤研究開発センターの玄界 ノードグループAで、実際にmVMCを体験して頂きながら、使用方法をご説明いたします。実験研究者や大学院生の参加を歓迎いたします。

1. Announcement of mVMC Workshop
A workshop on the mVMC effective model solver package, which uses the variational Monte Carlo method, will be held on Tuesday, 28 January 2025, using the Genkai Node Group A of the Research and Development Center for Information Technology at Kyushu University. The workshop will be held in a hybrid format, with participants at the venue (Kyushu University) and those participating remotely via Zoom.

【Purpose of the event】
This is a training session for mVMC, an open-source software that can analyse effective models of a wide range of many-body quantum systems (such as multi-orbital Hubbard models, Heisenberg models, and Kondo lattice models) using the variational Monte Carlo method. This workshop is aimed at those who are interested in using mVMC to perform simulations using the variational Monte Carlo method. We will explain the outline and basic usage of mVMC while you actually experience using mVMC at the Genkai Node Group A of the Research and Development Center for Information Technology at Kyushu University. We welcome the participation of experimental researchers and graduate students.
