This research computer system may be used for academic research,
and, to the extent that this does not prevent its use, for educational and social contributions.
Users are eligible to use the service if they meet any of the following qualifications.
Teachers and students of universities, technical colleges or inter-university institutions
Research staff belonging to an independent administrative agency other than an institute stipulated in the preceding item
Persons who belong to a research institute for the purpose of academic research, which is recognized by the Center,
and who are engaged exclusively in research.
Persons who conduct academic research funded by competitive research grants,
except those that are not approved for application or acceptance by Kyushu University.
Persons who do not meet any of the above conditions but are deemed acceptable by the Director of the Center.
When a user publishes the results of research conducted using the research computer system in a paper or other publication,
the user must clearly state in the paper or other publication that the user used the Center,
and report the contents of the paper or other publication to the Center.
Please note that due to deemed export control, non-residents and those who fall into a specific category must undergo screening by Kyushu University Integrated Legal Office,
which may take up to one month before they can start using the system.
